Bradley McGee OAM

brad-mcgee-web1Brad McGee is one of Australia’s most celebrated cyclists, having won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at four Olympics, competed in five Tour de France, the first Australian to wear the leaders jersey in the three Grand Tours and twice World Champion. Brad was awarded an OAM in the 2005 Australian Honours list.

Now retired from professional racing and Brad was recently appointed head cycling coach at the NSW Institute of Sport and is active in promoting Australian cycling and mentoring Australian cyclists on to the world stage.

We first met Brad when he joined the Pedal 4 Peirce team on the 2012 Tour Duchenne (he is pictured on the tour at Parliament House).  Since then he has become a fixture of the Big Red Ride and has given much of his time to our fund raising and promotion.

It is fantastic that Brad has agreed to be an ambassador for CRMD and we look forward to a long relationship with him both on and off the bike.
